I produced, mixed, and mastered another band's album for my record label.  Please consider buying the CD!

Always a treat to get an OD dance vid! The track's a banger and your moves totally sell it. big_smile
That album you worked on sounds like it's going to be a blast too. Looking forward to the release!

I had a feeling I'd be smiling and dancing along when I hit play! Love the breakdown around 2mins especially when da dance groove begins.  \m/

You also choreographed the album. We ended the WM stream on this and it was great. One of my favorites yet from you!

Loving the chiptunes and the catchy beat!

That arpeggio is truly lights out!

Yesss the sweet sound of midi nes.
Even in a quite sparse environment, it sounds so good, and I love the beat n arps

what a submission, great stuff

I'm amazed how different genres/styles you can put really cool stuff in

Lovely stuff OD! The NES sound is still fantastic! When the high arpeggio comes in the track really comes to life. And then it's over. Not that I'd blame you, having to dance like another 2 minutes like that would exhaust me, too. But I do feel the 'studio' version of this track deserves to be longer. ;-)

Seriously though, good stuff from you once again!

always entertaining. made my morning.

Those claps!

More please. Solid head banging.

I don't know why, but your dancing remembered me the Olympic Breakdance (I actually liked quite a bit what she did, looks like fun):

The lead line with the bass notes following it is quite catchy.  I'm going to be humming that to myself for a while.  Always nice to see some of your sick dance moves, too.

tearing me up
(good)

I love your chiptunes. I love your chiptunes more with mood lighting!

Love it! If this is an Orange Drink Dance Party, count me in! This is one of those songs that you can't help but move to.

so much fun!!

YOU HAVE A MIDINES!
so fun. I am tempted to take it back out sometimes and do the mr. spastic/automaton subsystem thing but it is really time consuming. I am all about time consumption now, keeping it simple.

love the chill vibes here, jump and chill at the same time.
is everything controlled from the octatrack?

yes!  all controlled by the octa!

did i ever tell you the story about how I saw you do an open mic at BlipFest and was going to ask to release a Mr. Spastic album on Hemlock Records but I was too intimidated by your talent and then years later becoming a huge gesceap enjoyer and the absolute gut punch when nullsleep revealed that it was the same person?????

(i just had to respond to this comment immediately smile )

Chiptune always has a way without words, great sounding as always smile

Open mic? Hmm I did play there but it was so long ago lol. I really do like that equipment, even made custom midi player for my setup with a pocket chip but alas I have no patience to carry that equipment around anymore.

Anyways love it!

Solid work, enjoyed the chiptune lead and arps. Flows well, no notes.

Everyone's got a midines except me T_T... the clean samples against the raw NES waves throws my brian off tongue

Rad track! Alway glad to see what your up to.

Yessss! NES always sounds so good! The drum groove on this is great, and really gives the NES a different context.
I was very impressed to hear that this was all done with MIDI control from the octatrack too! Great stuff!

Unrelated but I am just finding this out. Was a huge automaton subsystem fan and often wondered what happened to them whilst meantime enjoying Gesceap stuff. I need a moment to take this in...

What a jam, the arp break at 1:40 is sweet.  Very impressed as how well you keep it together while recording these videos.  I have fun playing live but when I'm tracking something in the studio I get crazy record light anxiety.  I'd be trembling by the end trying to make sure I don't screw anything up, while you dance. Very inspiring.

That's a cool groove! Yay to the live performances!

Nice! Makes me realize I really need to learn to dance, lol

the vibes! there's something so magical about that hollow bass sound, and the twinkliness of the arp you've got around 1:30 that is just so evocative of the NES sound. it's so good.
